COATING / PAINTING SUPERVISOR REQUIRED FOR THOOTHUKUDI | NACE Level 1 (or) BGAS Grade 2
DURATION: LONG TERM | NO OF OPENINGS: 4 NO’S | Mobilization: 1st week of Nov 2025
Requirements:
• Diploma in Mechanical / Chemical / Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Candidate must possess a valid Coating and Painting Inspection Certification — either NACE Level 1 or BGAS Grade 2 (mandatory requirement).
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in industrial painting and coating inspection.
• Experience in thermal power plants, heavy industries, petrochemical plants, or EPC projects is preferred.
Technical Skills & Knowledge:
• Knowledge of surface preparation methods and coating types.
• Familiarity with inspection tools (DFT gauges, adhesion testers, holiday detectors).
• Understanding of coating standards (SSPC, NACE, ISO).
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Awareness of safety procedures in high-temperature and high-voltage environments.
Work Environment:
• Thermal power plants, industrial piping systems, boilers, chimneys, and structural steel works.
• Outdoor and indoor inspections under varied environmental conditions.
• Use of scaffolding, ladders, and elevated platforms for inspections.
